About the Journal
The SANHS Journal of Education, Science, and Society (SJESS) is the official scholarly publication of San Agustin National High School, dedicated to advancing knowledge through rigorous, ethical, and relevant research. The journal serves as a venue for both emerging and experienced researchers, particularly learners and educators, to share studies that address educational, scientific, and societal concerns.
SJESS publishes empirical research, action research, theoretical papers, case studies, and innovative practices across multiple disciplines, including education, science and technology, social sciences, and business. It places strong emphasis on school-based and classroom-based research that informs teaching practice, supports policy development, and contributes to community engagement.
As an open-access journal, SJESS ensures that all published articles are freely available online, fostering equitable access to knowledge and wider dissemination of research outputs. The journal follows a peer-review process to maintain academic quality, integrity, and relevance, and upholds ethical standards in research and publication.
Through SJESS, San Agustin National High School aims to strengthen research culture, encourage scholarly collaboration, and contribute locally grounded knowledge to broader academic and educational discussions.
